Off to Gulf Games 12

We're off to Gulf Games 12 in Willamsburg, VA. This will be our third Gulf Games and everyone is really looking forward to it. We plan to spend a few days before the event visiting some of the sites in and around Williamsburg - Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and others. GG12 starts on Thursday, August 7, but the games will be starting before that as the attendees will be getting together in the evenings before hand. I don't know what I'm looking forward to the most, the games, the site seeing or the people. The people really make the event. It's like a big family reunion where the family members all share the same hobby. I'm also looking forward to playing some of the new games I haven't had a chance to play yet.

I hope to be able to document the event via our picture album, but I'm not sure what kind of internet connection I will be able to establish. I know that the hotel does not have high speed access (much to the dismay of several of the internet addicts in the group) so I will be limited to whatever dial-up connect I can get. That may preclude large data transfers, but we will see.
